‘It’s beautiful,’ she thinks. There’s something charming about the size - the bulkiness of it - the way the flash rises and the way it makes such a gentley muffled noise as it goes.
“Ah!” A girl shouts as the film comes out towards the bottom. She quickly grabs it and begins to shake it, her eyes wide with anticipation. “Airin, am I supposed to shake it-” and then her eyes meet Yukko’s.
Yukko had just been passing by - well, they had just been passing by - when she had spotted this girl - a year, maybe two, older than themselves - in the middle of the street.
